Dr Kazunori Nakajima

Dr Kazunori (Kaz) Nakajima has worked for over 10 years in a busy clinic in Melbourne before making the permanent move to live in Barwon Heads in 2021. He has extensive experience in all aspects of General Practice and has also worked in regional Victoria where he completed part of his training.
Book an appointmentDr Kaz was born in Japan and moved to Brisbane when he was four. He moved to Victoria to study Medicine at the University of Melbourne and is now happily settled in Barwon Heads with his young family.
Kaz loves the variety that Family Medicine offers and is passionate about all aspects of General Practice. He is interested in skin cancer detection and is also especially skilled in the management of chronic wounds. Kaz has undertaken additional training in mental health management which he finds to be an extremely useful tool in helping his patients.
When he’s not working, Kaz can be found enjoying the coast with his young family. He likes to cook, travel, play soccer and paddle-board. In the winter months, make sure and ask him about his beloved Brisbane Broncos.
